From Hollywood actors to global pop stars, celebrities have made headlines not just for their talent but for some truly jaw-dropping car accidents. Buckle up as we take a look at the wildest celebrity wrecks involving luxury and exotic vehicles.

Rowan Atkinson (McLaren F1)

Mr. Bean may have a clumsy streak on screen, but Rowan Atkinson’s real-life car crash was no joke. In 2011, he crashed his rare McLaren F1 (one of only 106 ever made) into a tree and a road sign in the UK. 

The car was severely damaged, requiring over $1 million in repairs—making it one of the most expensive insurance payouts in British history. Thankfully, Atkinson walked away with just a minor shoulder injury.

Lindsay Lohan (Porsche 911 Carrera S)

Back in 2012, Lindsay Lohan collided with an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway while driving a Porsche 911 Carrera S. The front end of the sports car was completely destroyed. Lohan was on her way to a movie set, and although shaken, she was unharmed. 

The crash made headlines and added another twist to her already turbulent relationship with the press.

Kevin Hart (1970 Plymouth Barracuda)

In 2019, Kevin Hart suffered a serious accident in a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. The vehicle had been a birthday gift, and the accident involved the muscle car veering off the road in Malibu and rolling down an embankment. Hart wasn’t actually driving the car when it happened, but he did suffer major back injuries. The car was completely totaled.

Justin Bieber’s run-in with a Ferrari 458 Italia wasn’t his only car-related incident, but it might just be his flashiest. 

In 2015, the Biebs reportedly dinged and scraped the exotic red Ferrari multiple times—enough to significantly lower its value. Though it wasn’t a dramatic high-speed crash, the damage was enough to mark the car as "beyond reasonable repair" in collector circles.

Tracy Morgan (Bugatti Veyron)

They say that a car's value drops the second you drive it off the lot—and for Tracy Morgan that was even more true in 2019 when—Only minutes after purchasing a $2 million Bugatti Veyron—Morgan was sideswiped by a Honda CR-V in New York traffic. 

The accident wasn’t life-threatening, but the luxurious hypercar sustained damage to the driver’s side. The incident sparked headlines like “Million-Dollar Mishap” and went viral due to how soon the crash happened after the purchase.

Jay Leno (Tesla Model S Plaid)

While not a crash in the traditional sense, Jay Leno’s 2022 incident with a Tesla Model S Plaid during a test drive was enough to total the vehicle. Leno, a self-professed car enthusiast, lost control briefly during a performance run. The car hit a wall at low speed, and the damage to the undercarriage and electronics rendered the high-tech EV undrivable. Leno shrugged it off, saying, "That's what insurance is for."

Post Malone (Rolls-Royce Wraith)

In 2018, Post Malone crashed his Rolls-Royce Wraith in West Hollywood just weeks after surviving a plane emergency landing.
