The Rarest Muscle Cars In Wrestling Legend Bill Goldberg’s Collection—Ranked

Goldberg Built A Formidable Muscle Car Collection

Bill Goldberg made his name by overpowering opponents in the wrestling ring, but his passion for horsepower runs nearly as deep. His collection has featured classic Mopars, powerful Pontiacs, rare Shelbys, and limited-production modern Dodges. Some are desirable collector cars, while the rarest were produced in astonishingly small numbers.

His Interest Started Long Before Wrestling Fame

Goldberg has said he dreamed about certain cars years before his success in World Championship Wrestling gave him the means to buy them. A 1967 Shelby GT500 was among the first major collector cars he purchased after becoming successful. His garage eventually grew into a personal history of American performance.

Mopars Became The Heart Of The Garage

Although Goldberg appreciates numerous brands, Dodge and Plymouth models occupy a particularly important place in his collection. His garage has included multiple Chargers, Challengers, a Coronet R/T, a Plymouth GTX, and a factory lightweight Dodge 330. That Mopar preference becomes increasingly obvious near the top of this ranking.

Production Numbers Determine The Order

This ranking primarily considers how many examples were originally built in each car’s relevant model, engine, transmission, or documented color configuration. Factory originality and historical significance help separate vehicles with similarly small totals. The list covers cars Goldberg has publicly shown or discussed, including notable vehicles he owned previously.

15. 2017 Dodge Charger Scat Pack

Goldberg’s Charger Scat Pack uses Dodge’s naturally aspirated 6.4-liter Hemi V8. It was a regular production model rather than a numbered special edition. That makes it the most accessible car in this countdown.

14. 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye

The Hellcat Redeye produces 797 horsepower from its supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi. Dodge borrowed several performance components from the limited-production Demon. However, the company did not restrict Redeye production to a tiny predetermined run.

13. 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Goldberg has praised his 1970 Camaro Z28 as both fast and attractive. Chevrolet produced 8,733 Z28s for the model year. Its 360-horsepower LT-1 V8 still makes it a coveted early second-generation Camaro.

12. 1970 Plymouth Barracuda 340

Goldberg’s Barracuda carries Plymouth’s energetic 340-cubic-inch V8. Thousands of 340-powered Barracuda and ’Cuda models were produced in 1970, although individual configurations were scarcer. Goldberg particularly values his car’s factory character.

Sublime.

Barracudas were built from 1964-74. The 2nd generation, the 1970–1974 E-body Barracuda, no longer Valiant-based, was available as a coupe and a convertible, both of which were very different from the previous models. Sharing this platform was aSicnag, Wikimedia Commons

11. 1968 Plymouth GTX 440

The GTX combined big-block performance with more comfort than Plymouth’s Road Runner. Goldberg’s restored example has a 440 Super Commando V8 and four-speed manual transmission. The standard 440 was less exclusive than the optional Hemi.

From 1965 the B body Plymouths (same platform as the Dodge Coronet and Charger) were available in base model Belvedere and upmarket Satellite. Roadrunners were introduced in 1968, a high performance version of the Belvedere The Plymouth GTX was introducedSicnag, Wikimedia Commons

10. 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon

Dodge limited the original Demon to 3,000 American cars and 300 Canadian examples. Its supercharged Hemi could produce 840 horsepower with the appropriate fuel and equipment. Goldberg’s car reflects his fondness for factory-built drag machines.

9. 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170

The Demon 170 concluded Dodge’s celebrated Last Call series. It can produce 1,025 horsepower when running on E85 fuel. Production remained limited to approximately 3,300 examples despite enormous demand.

8. 1967 Shelby GT500

Goldberg dreamed about owning a Shelby GT500 long before becoming famous. Shelby American built 2,048 examples for 1967, each powered by a 428-cubic-inch V8. Goldberg eventually sold his automatic car, but it remained an important early purchase.

7. 1970 Pontiac Trans Am

Pontiac produced only 3,196 Trans Ams during the shortened 1970 model year. Goldberg’s extensively modified example is far removed from an untouched factory survivor. Only 88 Trans Ams originally received the Ram Air IV engine, although his car has not been conclusively identified as one.

6. 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Daytona

Dodge limited the Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition to 501 cars. That number honored the production total traditionally associated with the original 1969 Charger Daytona. Goldberg’s example combines that exclusivity with a 717-horsepower supercharged Hemi.

5. 1973 Pontiac Trans Am Super Duty 455

Goldberg bought his Super Duty Trans Am while working on The Longest Yard. Pontiac produced only 252 SD-455 Trans Ams for 1973. Goldberg later modified and repainted his example, changing its original factory presentation.

4. 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi

Goldberg calls his blue Charger the queen of his collection. Only 432 Charger R/T hardtops reportedly received the 426 Hemi in 1969, including 119 four-speed cars. Its original drivetrain, interior, and surviving paint make it especially desirable.

3. 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 Six Pack

Goldberg’s Coronet combines a 440 Six Pack V8 with an automatic transmission. Only 194 Coronet R/T hardtops received that engine, including 97 automatics. Registry information identifies just 18 automatic cars with Goldberg’s triple-black configuration.

2. 1963 Dodge 330 Lightweight Max Wedge

The factory built Goldberg’s Dodge 330 for serious drag racing. It was one of only 34 lightweight examples equipped with aluminum components and a 426 Max Wedge engine. Registry information also identifies it as the only one fitted with its unusual floor shifter.

1. 1970 Ford Mustang Lawman Super Boss 429

Goldberg’s Lawman Super Boss 429 is a unique piece of Ford history. It participated in a performance and safety program for American military personnel stationed overseas. Two Lawman Boss 429 Mustangs were built, but Goldberg’s car is considered the sole survivor.

The Lawman Was No Ordinary Mustang

Ford built only 499 regular Boss 429 Mustangs for 1970. The Lawman received extensive modifications for exhibition runs and high-speed demonstrations. Its military connection makes it more historically significant than an ordinary production Boss.

The Dodge 330 Represents Factory Drag Racing

Detroit manufacturers aggressively pursued drag-racing victories during the early 1960s. Dodge reduced the 330’s weight with aluminum body and structural components. Documented racing history adds further value to Goldberg’s example.

Tiny Details Make The Coronet Scarcer

Goldberg’s Coronet remained stored for more than a decade. Its black paint, vinyl roof, and interior create the coveted triple-black appearance. That color combination makes it much rarer than production numbers for the broader model suggest.

Goldberg Still Enjoys The Machinery

Goldberg’s cars are not simply trophies arranged for display. He regularly discusses their performance, mechanical character, and driving experience through Goldberg’s Garage. His choices reflect childhood ambitions and a lifelong appreciation for American V8 power.

The Rarest Cars Carry The Best Stories

Goldberg’s garage offers far more than expensive horsepower. The Lawman represents military outreach, while the Dodge 330 recalls Detroit’s factory drag wars. Those stories elevate his rarest cars beyond ordinary celebrity collectibles.
