Sylvester Stallone's $4 Million Car Collection

A Car Collection Worthy Of A Legend

Sylvester Stallone is turning heads both on-screen and about town. The man built himself up from humble beginnings to become a megastar and iconic hero. His penchant for exclusive cars isn't as well known as his legendary roles, but it definitely reflects his bold personality

Definitely Not Expendable

If you've seen at least one Rocky or Rambo, or even one of his more recent Expendables, you can’t help but love his irresistible larger-than-life characters. They're earnest, muscle-bound, and ready for action. But, Stallone's producing and directing qualities often go under the radar.

Luck Happens

Stallone claims it was a stroke of luck that Rocky was produced. He originally auditioned with the producers for a role in another film. When he was turned down, they found out he could write in addition to acting. He pitched the story for Rocky, and the rest is history.

Freedom To Choose

With just a little over $100 in his bank account at the time he got the go-ahead for the movie Rocky, you can only imagine the dedication it took to get where he is today. With a net worth estimated today at $400 million, Stallone can follow his passions in choosing what he wants.

It's Not Easy To Stay Exclusive And Tasteful

Another passion of his that often flies under the radar is Stallone's car collection, estimated at a value of over $4 million. His vehicles are almost as legendary as he is, including a 90-year-old hot rod and a jet-black Bugatti Veyron worth about two million dollars. How did his collection start?

A Rare Collection That Reflects Success And Passion

The first luxury car Stallone purchased was a 1950 Mercury, which he designed for his role as crime-fighter Marion Cobretti in the film Cobra. The studio had stunt doubles of the car made for use in some of the action sequences, like the jump from the second floor of the parking garage.

Stolen Hearts

Sylvester Stallone couldn't part with the Mercury that was used in the movie, but the story doesn't end there. The 600+ horsepower car was stolen from his garage in 1994. What's even more incredible is that the car was recovered 17 years later when Stallone saw it for sale online.

2007 Rolls-Royce Phantom Valued At $450,000

In his mid-70s, Stallone is still powerfully built and in amazing shape, much like his Rolls-Royce Phantom. With a massive 6.75-liter V12 under the hood, the Rolls isn't as fast as some of his sports cars. It's what we'd call a luxury sedan, perfect for cruising star-studded Hollywood.

Steering Clear Of Trouble?

If you keep your eyes open on the streets of Hollywood, you might catch Stallone at the wheel of his Bugatti Veyron with Arnold Schwarzenegger, his friend and fellow actor from Expendables. Bugatti owners often choose a two-toned color scheme, but Stallone's is jet-black.

Bugatti Veyron For Ultimate Speed

The Bugatti Veyron, priced at approximately $2 million, is a symbol of extreme performance. No wonder Stallone had to have it. One of the fastest street-legal cars ever, it has more than 1000 horsepower, a quad-turbo W16 engine, and a top speed of 267 mph.

Fits Right In

Stallone fits right in with other famous Bugatti owners like soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo and stellar boxer Floyd Mayweather. You might think that Stallone's Bugatti blends in because of its jet black-on-black color, but the growl from its exhaust will always make it stand out.

Ford 1932 Highboy Hot Rod

Sometimes alluded to as “the hidden gem of Sylvester Stallone's garage,” his 1932 Highboy Hot Rod is a vintage two-door convertible that is 3.4m (11ft) long and in pristine condition. With 330 horsepower and a maximum torque of 460 lb-ft, no wonder Stallone keeps driving it.

Vintage Speed And Craftsmanship

As you can imagine, this luxurious example of speed, craftsmanship, and American car history makes this Ford hot rod a perfect fit for Stallone's collection. Its features include exposed chrome suspension, custom tan leather seats, and aluminum trim. Simply unforgettable.

Sleek and Powerful Ferrari 599 GTB

With a nickname like “the Italian Stallion,” you'd expect Stallone to own at least one red Ferrari with a prancing pony. His red (of course) 599 GTB Fiorano was custom-modified by Mansory, who put in a steering wheel and body of exposed carbon fiber. And it's got loads of power.

Exceptional Design and Handling

The Fiorano's massive 6.0-liter V12 engine generates an incredible 612 horsepower and 448 lb-ft of torque. Named Supercar of the Year in 2006 by Top Gear, Stallone appreciates the car's exceptional handling, with 0-60 mph in only 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph.

Bentley Continental GTC

Going through the collection, it's easy to see a pattern. Stallone favors luxury cars that are slick, fashionable, and fast. His GTC represents the ultimate in British car manufacturing opulence, and looks simply stunning in metallic black paint.

Luxury On Wheels

A peak inside reveals that some high-end Fiddleback Eucalyptus leather trim level was used to reupholster the $240,000 GTC's interiors. Onboard, the Naim Uniti entertainment system keeps the fans happy while an 1100-watt 11-speaker surround-sound system cranks out the volume.

No Chauffeur Needed

One cool thing about Stallone is that he actually drives the cars from his collection, and his Bentley convertible is no exception. It's got a twin-turbocharged V8 engine and four-wheel drive. It's too bad he can't take advantage of the 0–60 in just 5.1 seconds on the streets of LA.

Red C3 Corvette Sold In 2011

A peppy red Corvette will always stand out on the road for its distinctive design. Apparently, Stallone's Corvette had plenty of custom changes made under the hood: he added an 8.3-liter Donovan Big Block engine with 660 horsepower. Of course, he kept the manual transmission.

Custom Cabin

Other unique features include a bulbous front hood, enormous side exhaust pipes, chrome wheels, and a fully leather-trimmed interior. The custom cabin is fitted with digital Autometer gauges, Corbeau seats, and a Flaming River tilt steering wheel.

He Signed It Away

All this luxury still wasn't enough to make the car a permanent part of the collection. The value of a custom model like this one can easily reach millions of dollars at an auction. No wonder Stallone decided to sell the car in 2011 with an autographed photo as part of the deal.

Chevrolet Corvette C8 Convertible

A new start in a new home is the perfect time for a gift. When Stallone and his family moved to Florida in 2020, he got himself a neat little housewarming present. A blue Corvette C8. The dealer personally delivered the car right to his door—even before our era of home deliveries.

The Celebrity Standard Cadillac Escalade ESV

Driving around in a Cadillac Escalade is a statement that “you made it.” Stallone's Escalade is a fully customized stretch ESV. This means an extra 20 feet (over 6 meters) of pampering comfort, lots of legroom, built-in massagers, a giant smart TV, and plenty of space for drinks.

Style And Performance Of The Mercedes-Benz G63

Noted for its solid exterior and luxurious interior, Stallone's Mercedes-Benz G63 is an SUV that's ideal for rugged trails or arriving at a star-studded event. Inside, it's got 585 horsepower, a V8 4-liter bi-turbo engine, and a top speed of 130 mph. But is it safe in a fender bender?

On-Screen Fender Bender

Cameras at a gas station caught a light blue car bumping into Stallone's huge Mercedes SUV. The driver was shocked and devastated when she stepped out and saw who she hit. In true hero style, Stallone told her not to worry, shook her hand, and left without taking any details.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti’s Italian Excellence

Why just one Ferrari when you can have more? Stallone's Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is simply stunning, so you can understand why he had to add it to his collection. Apparently, the Scaglietti is known for its customization, which makes it a favorite among celebrities.

Personalized Power

Although it's unclear what kind of personalizations Stallone put into the car, you can be sure it involved adding more power and performance. The car's 12-cylinder engine has a top speed of 196 mph and an electrochromic roof, but that may not be enough.

Camaro Custom SS Muscle Car

No one will complain about an overload of muscle. Built to Stallone's specifications, his Camaro Custom SS, short for Super Sport, is one of the most powerful muscle cars in production today. It's got one of two 6.2-liter V8 engines, L99 and LS3, each capable of very high performance.

Pure Power Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG

We're seeing a pattern here… Stallone has a keen appreciation for a sleek design that comes with outstanding performance. With its twin-turbo V12 engine, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG delivers a thrilling ride together with a luxurious interior.

Heavyweight Champion

Weighing in at almost 5,000 pounds, the SL65 AMG packs a heavy load for a two-seater coupe. Stallone's limited edition SL65 AMG Black Series packs more power and 550 pounds less weight thanks to 12% larger turbos, modified wastegates, and a body made of carbon fiber composite.

Mercedes-Benz E63 For Speed And Splendor

Stallone also owns a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, one of the world's most powerful sedans when it was introduced in 2010. Despite its 4,000-pound weight, this car reaches 0 to 60 in just 4.3 seconds and can go up to 200 mph. A heavenly combo of speed and splendor.

Custom Mustang GT Is Muscle Reimagined

Stallone has a fully personalized red and black Custom Mustang. Not just with add-ons or a custom paint job. Ford manufactured and painted this car specially for him. Like Stallone's body, this car is a tribute to American muscle. You can't miss him or the car with the huge flames.

Age Ain't Nothin’

When he first purchased the car, around the time he was filming Rambo 5, Stallone was caught on camera stepping away from the flaming Mustang GT. He was holding a cigar and a birthday card that supposedly read "Age Ain't Nothin’." He clearly knows how to live the legend.

Vintage 1968 Chevrolet Corvette

Buying a red 1968 Corvette, with its long hood and sexy curves, must have been a dream come true for Stallone. This classic car, like its owner, is known to pack a punch with a 510 cubic inch, 8.3-liter Donovan Big Block engine that puts out 660 horsepower.

Loving The Luxurious Aston Martin DB9

One of the most elegant vehicles in Stallone's collection is his Aston Martin DB9. This James Bond classic blends British elegance and sophistication with breathtaking speed. Known for its good looks, comfort, safety, and technology, it reflects Stallone's love of luxury.

A Favorite Vehicle

Stallone reportedly drives his Aston Martin more often than the other cars in his garage. Fun fact: he drives an Aston Martin in the movie Driven (2001), where he plays a retired race car driver. He fits perfectly into the glamorous world of auto racing.

Racing Spirit

In fact, Stallone has been a big fan of racing ever since attending Formula One races in Europe while filming Judge Dredd. Once he decided to write the screenplay for Driven, he was determined to learn firsthand about the cars, how the drivers feel at the wheel, and how they handle the stress.

In The Pits

He went to the racing pits and got to know different drivers, their crew, and even their families. He was determined to understand those drivers, including the unique experience of lying down in the car feet first, which he described as "entering the great unknown."

Driven To Physical Extremes

He compared the skill needed at the wheel to "speeding across an ice field." It's not easy staying in control when the car has almost no traction. Stallone was left filled with admiration for professional race car drivers and the extreme physical demands and G-forces involved.

Range Rover SV Autobiography

There are rumors that Stallone has a bulletproof 4.6 Range Rover that was shipped to him in LA by Intermountain Land Rover in Salt Lake City. With or without the protection, the Range Rover SV Autobiography is known as a decadent high-performance model admired by the rich and famous.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class S550 Has Comfort And Prestige

Yes, Sylvester Stallone owns a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, specifically the S550 model. The S550 is known for its luxury features, advanced technology, and powerful performance, making it a fitting choice for Stallone's car collection, which includes other high-end vehicles.

2010 Porsche Panamera

Stallone's 2010 Porsche Panamera is a roomy four-door GT that represents the ideal blend of sports cars and luxury interiors. The definition of indulgence, his Panamera includes everything from 20-inch RS Spyder wheels to a BOSE surround sound system. Wait, there's more.

Spacious Luxury And Speed

The Panamera has a 4.8-liter V8 engine with 400 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, putting out a top speed of 175 mph and going 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. This model of Porsche merges spacious size with sportiness, so it's a favorite among many celebrities.

Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet

Powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six engine with direct fuel injection, Stallone's 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet puts out 500 horsepower. Loaded with new technology, the Cabriolet's engine has two turbochargers with variable turbine geometry (VTG) and VarioCam Plus valve control.

Staying In The Game

Stallone recently admitted that he was impressed by the Polestar Precept, a 4-door electric concept car by Polestar, a subsidiary of Volvo Cars and Geely. He called the Precept "a work of art." I guess it's time to get to work on his next film so he can buy one for himself.
