2024 was a banner year for the electric and hybrid vehicle industries, with many manufacturers making huge strides in adopting an all-electric line-up. Dodge Ram 1500

Dodge Ram pickups have long been a staple of those looking for do-it-all workhorses, and their 2024 Dodge Ram 1500 was no exception. The full-size model of the Ram 1500 has a towing capacity of 11,560 pounds and can hold a payload of 2,300 pounds. The workhorse is surprisingly fuel-efficient, offering 20 mpg city and 25 mpg on the highway. It received a reliability rating of 88 out of 100.

GMC Terrain

Unlike the GMC Canyon which was one of the worst vehicles of the year, GMC's large SUV was a hit among consumers. Offering a gentle ride with spacious seating and all-wheel drive, the Terrain is the perfect get-around SUV for the busy family. A touch-screen, satellite radio, and a Wi-Fi Hotspot make it easy to listen to your favorite tunes, too. The Terrain received an 88 out of 100 reliability rating.

Nissan Titan

The Titan is Nissan's offering to the pickup truck line for this year, offering a standard V8 enginecomfortable seating, and advanced driver safety features as standard. With a slight drawback on performance in only offering one engine and not as much tow/payload capacity as others in their class, the Titan still performed well among consumers. It received a reliability rating of 88 out of 100.

Chevrolet Equinox

While Chevy may have had a car in the least reliable vehicles of the year, the Equinox makes up for it in affordability and tech features. While not the quickest SUV in the world, once you get going, the ride is serene. Smooth handling and supreme comfort are backed by an affordable starting price of just $33,000 MSRP. The Equinox's reliability rating for this year is 89 out of 100, more than making up for the awful Chevy Colorado.

Lexus GX

If you like to ride in style, then the Lexus GX is the SUV for you. Its 349 horsepower, twin-turbo V6 gives you all the power you could possibly want, with the ability to go off-road thanks to all-wheel drive as standard. Unfortunately, its fuel economy isn't awesome—just 15 mpg city and 21 mpg highway, but it still scores 89 out of 100 in reliability.

Nissan Murano

The ever-reliable Nissan brand makes another appearance, this time with it's 2024 Murano. Not much has changed on the exterior of the Murano from the previous year, but it does boast some significant safety features that users appreciate, like the cross-traffic alert in the vehicle's rear, automatic high and low-beam headlights, and parking sensors in both the front and rear. Its reliability rating from JD Power is also 89 out of 100.

Porsche Boxster

While not your average car for your average bear, Porsche have outdone themselves with the 2024 Boxster. The model has four engine options and boasts an incredible quad-turbo design that puts out 394 horsepower. It's a well-balanced car with excellent handling and fuel efficiency, getting 21 mpg city and 27 mpg highway mileage. While the price tag is eye-watering, you'll get a car with a 90 out of 100 reliability rating.

Porsche 911

Porsche has been making great cars forever. The 2024 Porsche 911 is their latest entry into an all-too-good list of excellent automobiles. Sporting an optional hybrid powertrain, the 911 embraces the new technology while giving us much of the old features that 911 lovers will enjoy. It lacks storage space and its automatic shifting dial could be a little more intuitive, but there's so little to not love about the 911 that it receives a 91 out of 100 reliability rating.

Chevrolet Corvette

Chevrolet's sports/performance vehicles have never been in doubt as great cars. The 2024 Corvette is more reasonably priced than the 911 and Boxster, whilst providing similar acceleration and American engineering that we all love. Its V8 engine produces 495 horsepower and can go from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds in its base model. This car could be your daily driver with ease, as with a 19 mpg combined fuel economy, the 2024 Corvette ranks at 92 out of 100 for reliability.
