The Cars That Hung on the Bedroom Wall
Gen X grew up during a golden age when performance cars felt rebellious, attainable, and personal. Many of those dream cars are still around today, and surprisingly, some are still smart buys if you know what you are looking for.

#20 – Pontiac Firebird Formula (1990s)
The Formula never got the fame of the Trans Am, but it offered the same V8 power with a cleaner look. Gen X liked it for being fast without screaming for attention, and today it remains one of the more affordable ways to get classic GM muscle.

The second-generation RX-7 felt exotic without being unreachable. Its rotary engine and balanced handling made it feel different from anything else on the road. Ownership requires commitment, but the driving experience still feels special.
